Miranda was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up mainly in St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently studying Journalism, International Studies, Spanish, German, and Anthropology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and using all of her spare time and money to travel the world with ferocity, insight, and a student budget.
At the time of writing, Miranda is 20 years old and 5’0” tall. She hopes to stay young but keep growing, eats languages for breakfast and harbours a (no longer) secret dream of spending a month with the indigenous reindeer herders of Siberia.
